Supported Countries Policy
Information regarding supported and restricted jurisdictions.
Global Accessibility
The Funded Pick is committed to operating in full compliance with international laws and regulations. Our platform is accessible worldwide except in certain jurisdictions where our services are prohibited due to international sanctions, embargoes, or internal compliance policies. We strictly adhere to sanctions imposed by authorities such as the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the European Union (EU), the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), and other relevant regulatory bodies. This means we cannot offer services in or involving specific countries, regions, or persons that are subject to these restrictions.
Comprehensive List of Restricted Countries and Regions
Below is an expanded and up-to-date list of all countries and territories currently under international sanctions or embargoes that are not supported on The Funded Pick. These include nations and areas sanctioned by the U.S. (OFAC programs), the EU, the UN, and other authorities. We have grouped them by category for clarity:
Comprehensively Sanctioned Countries
These are countries under broad embargoes or comprehensive sanctions programs (generally prohibiting most transactions and services):
- Cuba – U.S. comprehensive trade embargo in place since the 1960s.
- Iran – Subject to extensive sanctions due to nuclear proliferation and terrorism concerns.
- North Korea (DPRK) – Heavily sanctioned for nuclear weapons development and human rights abuses.
- Syria – Sanctioned due to longstanding human rights violations and internal conflict.
- Russia – Under wide-ranging sanctions (since 2022) targeting finance, energy, defense, etc., due to the invasion of Ukraine (includes occupied Ukrainian territories, listed below).
Additional Sanctioned or Restricted Countries
These countries are subject to significant international sanctions, arms embargoes, or other restrictions (often targeted to certain sectors or entities). The Funded Pick does not support service in these locations in compliance with global sanctions policies:
- Afghanistan – Restrictions related to the Taliban regime and terrorism concerns.
- Belarus – Sanctioned for human rights abuses and support of international aggression (e.g., role in the Ukraine conflict).
- Burma (Myanmar) – Sanctioned (arms embargo and financial sanctions) due to the 2021 military coup and ongoing human rights violations.
- Central African Republic (CAR) – Subject to UN/EU arms embargoes and sanctions amid ongoing conflict.
- Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) – Under UN sanctions targeting armed groups and conflict minerals.
- Libya – Sanctions and arms embargo in place due to civil conflict and UN resolutions.
- Mali – Subject to UN/EU sanctions related to security and human rights (post-coup instability).
- Nicaragua – Targeted sanctions (U.S., EU) due to undemocratic actions and human rights issues under the current regime.
- Somalia – Under UN sanctions (arms embargo and terrorist financing restrictions) given ongoing terrorism and instability.
- South Sudan – Sanctioned by UN (arms embargo) due to civil conflict and human rights concerns.
- Sudan – Subject to international sanctions related to conflict regions and past support for terrorism.
- Venezuela – Targeted sanctions (especially on the oil sector and government entities) for corruption and democratic backsliding.
- Yemen – Under UN sanctions due to the ongoing civil war and humanitarian crisis.
- Zimbabwe – EU/UK/US sanctions targeting certain officials and entities over governance and human rights issues.
Sanctioned Territories and Regions
In addition to sovereign countries, certain territories and breakaway regions are explicitly restricted due to international sanctions or non-recognition:
- Crimea (Autonomous Republic of Crimea) – Ukrainian territory illegally occupied by Russia since 2014; subject to comprehensive sanctions and embargoes.
- Donetsk & Luhansk regions (Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic) – Russia-backed separatist regions in eastern Ukraine; heavily sanctioned by the U.S., EU, and others. (Includes any areas of Donetsk/Luhansk under separatist control.)
- Zaporizhzhia & Kherson regions – Additional Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine claimed in 2022; treated as sanctioned territories by the international community (in line with the measures on Donetsk/Luhansk).
- Transnistria (Trans-Dniester region of Moldova) – Separatist territory with restricted status; included in EU sanctions lists due to unresolved conflict and presence of armed forces.
Note: The above list covers all jurisdictions currently under international sanctions or embargoes by major sanctioning bodies (U.S., EU, UN, UK, etc.). For example, as of 2025 the U.S. OFAC has comprehensive sanctions against countries like Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Russia, and parts of Ukraine, while the EU and UN maintain additional sanctions on countries such as Belarus, Myanmar, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, among others. The Funded Pick does not support accounts or activities in any of the above locations in order to comply with these international requirements.
Restricted Individuals and Organizations
In addition to geographic restrictions, certain individuals and entities are prohibited from using The Funded Pick regardless of their location. We do not provide services to or engage with:
- Sanctioned Persons and Entities: Anyone named on international sanctions watchlists – for instance, the U.S. Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list, EU/UK sanctions lists, UN Security Council blacklist, or similar regimes. These lists include individuals and organizations involved in terrorism, narcotics trafficking, weapons proliferation, money laundering, cybercrime, human rights abuses, or other illicit activities. If a person or business is a designated sanctions target, they cannot register or transact on our platform.
- Known Criminals or Terror Affiliates: Individuals associated with financial crimes, organized crime, or terrorism (even if not specifically on a government sanctions list) are not allowed. This includes persons with known history of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial felonies as identified through our compliance checks.
- Previously Banned Users: Any user who has been terminated or banned by The Funded Pick for violating our terms (such as fraud, abuse, or compliance violations) is permanently restricted from rejoining or accessing our services.
- High-Risk Entities: Organizations or persons who are under investigation or subject to law enforcement action for financial crimes, or who otherwise pose unacceptable legal compliance risks, may be denied access at our discretion. We reserve the right to screen and refuse participants based on internal risk criteria in line with applicable laws.
All users are subject to identity verification and ongoing compliance screening. If a user is found to be a sanctioned or high-risk party after joining, their account will be blocked and reported as required by law.
Compliance with Laws
All customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their country of residence and the country where they use The Funded Pick. Use of our services to violate export controls, trade sanctions, or any laws is strictly prohibited. By using The Funded Pick, you affirm that you are not located in a restricted jurisdiction, not conducting business on behalf of any sanctioned party, and not engaging in prohibited activities. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform does not violate any sanctions or export laws, including those of the U.S., EU, UN, or other relevant jurisdictions.
The Funded Pick reserves the right to refuse, block, or terminate any account or transaction that we believe may violate these policies or any applicable law. This includes cases where a user’s identity or activities cannot be sufficiently verified to our compliance standards. We may also impose additional due diligence or require documentation for users from regions with higher risk profiles, in accordance with our internal compliance policies.
Policy Updates
Geopolitical conditions and regulations can change rapidly. The list of restricted countries and the scope of sanctions may change at any time due to new sanctions, regulatory updates, or geopolitical developments. The Funded Pick continuously monitors international sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN, etc.) and will update this policy accordingly to remain compliant. No prior notice may be given for changes necessitated by law or urgent circumstances. We encourage users to stay informed about the laws applicable to them and to review this Supported Countries Policy periodically. Using our services implies acceptance of the latest version of this policy.
